Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors.Job Title:Health and Social CareAssessor - Level 5Location:Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel throughout the North EastCandidatesmust be flexible with travelwhen face-to-face visits are required.Salary:£28,000 - £30,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience)Package:Excellent Benefits Package, Pension, Expenses + much moreType:Full Time, PermanentEssential Criteria:

  • Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) or a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET
  • Ideally have experience ofassessingfull Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or above.
  • Must holdsolid occupational experience within Health and Social Care at Management level.
  • Must hold own Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • Must have a good level of ICT skills.
  • Hold own Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 2, or GCSE equivalents.
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel and also remote home working.
Duties include:
  • Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork and general administration.
Personal Skills:
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
