An excellent opportunity for a Regulatory Affairs professional to head up a growing regulatory affairs team and lead the provision of regulatory affairs services in the UK and EU. Key duties include developing/maintaining a sound knowledge of EU and UK regulatory requirements for agrochemicals and chemicals, provision of advice and expertise internally and externally, line management of the regulatory affairs UK team and continued development of the team’s expertise and scientific credibility.This role will involve a combination of team management, delivery of technical work, project management and contribution to service development and marketing. You will use your existing expertise in Plant Protection Product Regulation (1107/2009) to provide advice and guidance to your team and clients, to scope, resource and deliver technical regulatory projects including preparation of technical dossiers, scientific justifications, consulting of product portfolios, advice of preparing for significant legislation, placement of regulatory studies with external CROs, advocacy and general advice and provision of expertise. You will be primary point of contact for clients, develop project proposals, resource manage projects, track project progress and proof reports prepared by the team prior to client submission. You will also work closely with senior managers to develop and implement new service offerings in response to market / regulatory developments.Applications are invited from candidates with a proven track record in agrochemical regulatory affairs who are interested in taking a lead role and team management. You must have a sound knowledge of Plant Protection Product Regulation (1107/2009) and be able/willing to review and work on projects under this and other regulations eg Biocidal Product Regulation / BPR (EU 528/2012), REACH and others. Your primary knowledge / interest should be 1107/2009.
