THE JOB:NEWLY created role for a hands-on leader to manage a skilled team of 4 software engineers and work closely with the Product Owner and wider software delivery team build commercial software applications.Your job is to execute Scrum ceremonies, improve code quality and be a hands-on leader delivering high quality products.YOU:You will likely be already working as a Senior/ Lead/ Principal Software Engineer and be leading/managing team. This role will be approx. 70% coding and 30% leadership and working with the wider software delivery team to foster best practices and improve processes.Youll get involved to bring in new team members and will spend time guiding and offering real time constructive feedback.Youll be able to work remotely for this role (if you want to) however the team meet in person once a month in the Newcastle office so youll be based somewhere commutable.
