The Company Our client is a niche manufacturing company. A leader in their field they are now recruiting for a Graduate Test Engineer.The Role

Carry out testing according to industry standard.
Ability and understanding to carry out a wide range of product testing including tensile strength, product tolerance measuring, density checks, shear testing, structural testing.
Monitoring and ensuring products are within specification.
Responsible for ensuring testing sample requirements are met.
Liaising with customers to answer any technical based enquiries.
Interpret customer requirements to create documents and information packs.

The Person

Will be comfortable with general engineering principles and can utilise these to provide technical support to our customers and colleagues.
You will also be responsible for the running of in-house testing facilities.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering/manufacturing subject.
Good working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD systems (AutoCAD and Solidworks preferred).
Understanding of building systems and structures would be an advantage.
Excellent communicator both in written and verbal forms.
Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload with tight deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good computer literacy and working knowledge of the full MS Office suite.
