Job Description

The Role An exciting opportunity now exists for a Finance Director to work with the existing management team and deliver the future of Lontra. Reporting directly to the CEO you will be expected to drive the finance agenda working closely with investors, advisers, strategic partners and our small team to deliver our plan.Reporting to the CEO and the Board you will be expected to;

  • Work with the Board to develop the Strategy
  • Drive improvements in systems, processes and controls, enhancing financial reporting and planning, budgeting
  • Provide financial leadership for the business and, supply its people with accurate, timely and relevant financial information
  • Lead external relationships with Banks, Auditors and other key strategic partners
  • Maximise the financial opportunities presented to a growing entrepreneurial technology business in the UK
  • Working cohesively with all the other members of the executive team to collectively implement the company strategy and manage all aspects of its financial performance.
  • Requirements of the Role A professionally qualified accountant with a proven track record in a lead finance role, ideally with a manufacturing background.A self-motivated individual with strong analytical, negotiation, communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills is sought. You will be naturally tenacious, driven by business success. You will have the ability to quickly analyse complex situations and be an effective problem solver, whilst operating a results-focussed, professional and well organised approach.Experience in a rapidly growing company would be desirable.There is no set location for this role but it will require the successful candidate to be mobile across the UK with an emphasis on operations developing in Yorkshire and the Midlands.
