Job Description

Hadrian Technology are the specialist surveillance division of the Marlowe Fire and Security Group. Their solutions include designing, installing and maintaining IP, HD analogue and analogueCCTV systems. They are now looking for a highly motivated Finance Administrator to provide support to the Management Accounts function of a busy and expanding finance office.The successful candidate will gain experience in all aspects of finance work. Previous experience in this field will be an advantage but full training will be given. This is an exciting opportunity to gain a wide variety of skills within the finance function.The role will be a temp to permanant position Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesThe role will involve, but not be limited to:

  • Raising purchase orders to suppliers on request from engineering team.
  • To check and process all purchase invoices and credits on purchase ledgers.
  • To resolve all purchase invoice queries with suppliers and other staff members.
  • To generate suggested supplier payments for weekly payment runs.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Raise customer invoices on completion of work.
  • Post payments on customer accounts.
  • Assistance with supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Provide support to Financial Controller on an ad hoc basis.
Person Specification
  • Experience in a finance environment would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Sage 200C, Excel and CASH would be advantageous.
  • Structured in approach to work.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
