JOB TITLE: FIELD SERVICE ENGINEERLOCATION: NEWCASTLESALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 - 10% BONUS - COMPANY VANTHE BUSINESS:C4S Search are pleased to be working with one of the UK’s leading sustainable energy companies.THE FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY

• Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance in accordance with legal, technical, manufacturer, and contractual requirements.
• Address reactive maintenance issues, diagnose faults, and resolve them promptly.
• Strictly adhere to and oversee health and safety compliance while actively contributing to safety improvements across the network.
• Perform site surveys as needed.
• Follow our companys on-call schedule for duty assignments.
• Create accurate and timely documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed records of electrical testing, high voltage, and safety documents for audit purposes.
• Assist during commissioning and onboarding processes.
• Ensure work output meets technical standards, reliability, cost-efficiency, and productivity.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• Possession of relevant electrical qualifications - NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent certification.
• Proficiency in City & Guilds 17th/18th BS7671 standards.
• Preparedness for the physically demanding, outdoor aspects of the job, including the ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Exceptional communication skills, both in written and spoken English.
• Capable of working autonomously or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Adept at responding to shifting priorities and challenges, with a strong enthusiasm for personal development.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and technical manuals
