Job Description

A highly motivated field sales representative / field sales manager / field sales account manager is required for our market leading engineering client based in the Mancheste region to develop new and existing sales of plant equipment into key accountswithin the North East of England and Scotland sites ,covering the A69 Corridor - Carlisle to Newcastle,. This field sales role would suit an experienced sales manager with good experience of selling heavy construction plant equipment or good planthire / plant rental sales experience, looking for the next challenge in their business development career. In return there is a good salary dependent on experience of circa £35k-£45k with a company car with excellent company benefits including annual companybonus, an excellent contributory pension scheme, good holidays and a long term sales career in an established reputable company. Apply now!This field sales role will be covering the North East regions, so ideally you will be based in areas such as the A69 Corridor - between Carlisle to Newcastle. Field Sales professionals will ideally be based Carlisle near Leeds,York, Scarborough, Middlesborough,Durham, Doncaster, Newcastle, probably no further south than A66 as you will be travelling 4 out of 5 days per week to client sites and my clients depots in Manchester and Glasgow. This role is a remote working from home role and you maybe expected to go tothe offices near Aylesbury one day for sales meetings, reports, lead generation and general paperwork/ customer visit follow ups. This role would suit someone based near the North East region A69 Corridor area and willing and able to travel. You must havea full clean driving licence.The ideal construction sales candidate will have the following key skills and experiences;Essential:

  • Good field sales and business development experience within the construction plant, hire plant, plant rental, plant hire industries
  • Good experience of and ability to sell technical products eg construction machinery, heavy plant hire machinery, heavy vehicle hire, Material handling equipment, FLT, etc
  • Excellent time management, organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills and rapport skills, you must have an excellent sales manner, with the ability to communicate well at all levels of client businesses
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build new relationships with clients, develop existing accounts, identify new opportunities and follow up leads
  • A full driving licence and able and willing to travel extensively in this role as you will be covering the Southern and London region of the UK, this role is a field sales role so would suit a sales rep who has experience of this travelling and commutingfield sales lifestyle.
