Fabrication & Welding Shop Supervisor- £35k - £39k & bonus - Dumfries (relocation needed) - Excellent relocation package on offer The opportunity:"Ive always wanted to live in Dumfries" is a comment we have all said at some point of our lives. With its fine views, beautiful river and a stones throw from a national park, whats not to like On that basis, we are on the lookout for a Fabrication & Welding Shop Supervisor…We really need a technical skill set from an engineering a Fabrication & Welding Shop Supervisor perspective - someone who has a fabrication background but can understand technical welding requirements - and someone who wants to hugely established and well respected company who have had a track record of relocating people.We will of course look after you and your family, pay your rent for the 1st 6 months and make sure youre settle in, giving you all you need!The Person:We are open to the person on this, but from a technical skill set you must be someone who has a fabrication background but can understand technical welding requirements!Regarding your supervisory / management experience, as long as you have some that will be fine. But we do need a leader, maybe even someone looking to take the "next step" in their career.The role:The role will be a varied role, where you will be leading a small team (of around 12) professionals, all highly skilled in what they do. As well as that, we need to use your technical background for all aspects such as estimating for customers, through routing, scheduling and production to delivery.We currently have a Head of Engineering who looks at all the technical aspects and this will be to assist him and take some of the load off, whilst using your technical skill set to implement change and really evolve the way we work.But a role for someone who wants to really assist a business, making it better with excellent long term opportunities for yourself and your career.The company:This is with a hugely established and greatly respected engineering company, who manufactures a range of different high quality products that goes in to the likes of Oil & Gas and Manufacturing sectors.A company who have a true USP as we can fabricate and machine to a very high standard, with a business we proudly put in the heart of the community.
