· Experience in project packages (Oil and Gas)· Able to travel within UK and abroad when required· Understand the Quality requirements for project packages.· Familiar with UK/EU/Worldwide Logistics and Customs Import/Export Clearance requirements.· Ability to build relationships with suppliers.· Work with suppliers and subcontractors to mitigate delays.· Must have strong communication skills, both written and spoken, and be able to approach suppliers when delays or problems arise - be persistent when necessary.· Understanding of the products being expedited· Responsible for timely delivery of equipment to the contractual point of delivery without impact to the project.· Liaise internally with project team (engineers, planning, buyers, and project management) to gain project requirements.· Liaise with QA/inspection regarding ITP hold points (ie testing/FAT’s etc)· Responsible for ensuring timely submittal of critical documentation and expediting reports to our Project, Engineering and Document Control teams.· Understand and pursue relevant means of transportation of goods and ensure this is within budget and delivery time-frame.
