Job Description

ElectricianNewcastle and surrounding areas£34,000-£38,000 - DOEMainstay have an amazing new role for an experienced Electrician to join one of our large service providers in the West and East midlands areas.This is a great opportunity and the ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced environment and will have a strong background working in the electrical industry, specifically within Commercial sitesRole:

  • Responsible for the high standard completion of maintenance, repairs and electrical testing on Commercial sites
  • Respond to planned and reactive maintenance
  • You will report all escalations to the line manager ensuring that these are dealt with in the right time frame
  • You will ensure the health and safety on site making sure that all work completed is compliant with current regulations
Company
  • A leading Facilities Management service provider
Candidate
  • Experience within a similar role is essential, ideally working for a FM provider
  • Relevant electrical qualifications, 18th edition is essential and City and Guilds 2365, and City and Guilds 2391 are highly desirable
  • Highly motivated, with strong attention to detail
  • Patient, understanding and must be able to work in vulnerable situations
  • Must be confident working on your own or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
