Service Care Solutions are looking for a Digital Database Specialist in Newcastle. You will Analyse the needs of the organisation and the types of information required to meet those needs. Create the structure for processing data through software and hardware.Test developments on a limited set of information to ensure they function efficiently before releasing them for company wide use. Maintain a constant attention on security matters during all tasks. Develop the physical and technical foundation of the database,or create applications to work with the database.Required skills/experienceExpertise in Oracle database management, performance tuning and optimisationExpertise in provisioning Oracle databases on Linux platforms including database upgrade, regular patching and maintenanceExpertise in the following Oracle technology stack:Database 12c and 19cReal Application Clusters (RAC) and Grid Infrastructure 12c and 19cData Guard in ASYNC and SYNC modesGoldenGate replicationExcellent Linux and shell scripting skillsExcellent understanding of Agile deliveries, collaborative tooling and techniques including Jira and KanbanGood understanding of DevOps practices, continuous delivery tooling and automation using Ansible, TerraForm and GitGood understanding of designing and implementing databases in Amazon Web Services or MicrosoftIf you are interested in this role or want further discussion please contact Chris Wheeler either via email: or tel: .
