Job Description

DATA ENGINEERREMOTE - MUST BE UK BASEDUp to £70,000THE COMPANYThis company are one of the UKs largest telecommunications companies, who are on a mission to become the most recommended brand by their customers. At the heart of this strategy is digital innovation and their significant data resources.THE ROLEYou will:

  • Use cutting-edge technology on GCP to build world-class data pipelines (both batch & real-time) and data services
  • Build and maintain a self-service platform to help data modelling teams to be as self-sufficient as possible without needing to worry about infrastructure and deployment
  • Work with highly skilled DevOps Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists and Software Engineers side by side to build powerful data products and services (including MLOps) that would really improve our customers experience
  • Work in a start-up like environment (yeah, you heard that right!)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCETo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Strong Python experience
  • Strong SQL experience
  • Understand DevOps best practices including CI/CD
  • Cloud experience, preferably GCP
  • Had production experience using a data warehouse engine such as BigQuery or Redshift
