Job Description

In a NutshellWe have a great opportunity for a Customer Service Technician to join our team within Vistry Partnerships North East, covering various location across the North East region. This is an excellent opportunity to be working permanently with one of the mostsuccessful and recognisable main contractors and housebuilders in the UK who have built a superb name in the market. As our Customer Service Technician, you will provide an exceptional customer care service to all Vistry Partnerships Clients and Customersin accordance with the guidelines specified within the associated contract conditions and working to maintain our 5* builder status. You will carry out repairs, source all necessary materials in advance in order to complete works on time and within the firstvisit. You will also assist office-based staff with putting together a programme of works for subcontractors and be on hand to offer technical advice.Lets cut to the chase, whats in it for you

  • Tradesman background as a joiner, bricklayer, plumber, plaster, etc.
  • Experience in working in occupied properties
  • Able to work as part of a small team with established processes and procedures
  • The ability to manage difficult customers, understand and explain building related issues.
  • Excellent customer focus with construction-based customer service background preferred
  • Ability to update defect management system as required
  • Full driving licence
  • Experience in snagging new homes (desirable)
  • Practical knowledge of NHBC, LABC & Premier Guarantee guidelines useful but not essential
More about the Customer Service Technician role
  • To carry out remedial works as deployed by the customers service team in occupied and unoccupied properties - complete repairs on time/first visit
  • To review defects lists and procure any materials required prior to customer appointments
  • To meet customers and inspect reported defects, compile reports with photographs and pass back to the customer service team so remedial work can be coordinated with sub-contractors
  • Assist site-based teams to complete homes when required
  • Receive, complete and action defects on defect reporting system, currently Clixifix
  • Contact customers to discuss defects and arrange necessary repairs
