Job Description

Credit Control Team Leader (US Ledger)Newcastle upon TyneWe are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Team Leader to join our friendly and supportive Credit Control team in Newcastle.As Credit Control Team Leader you will play a key role in supporting the US Credit Control Team Manager, responsible for the development and success of the US credit control team. This position will require you to work shifts due to time zone differences:Monday - Thursday - comprised of 2x 10am-7pm shifts, and 2x 8.30/9.30am-5.30/6.30pmFriday - 8.30am-4pm*Shift patterns are planned with the rest of the team each week, to allow for flexibility and work/life balance.The Credit Control team are essential to our global business, you will be working in a dynamic and busy environment supporting team members with the reconciliation of invoicesYour role will also include:

  • Supporting, training and development of new and existing team members
  • Reporting the teams productivity and assisting with one-to-one meetings and ledger reviews with team members
  • Reconciliation of invoices
  • Supporting the US Team Manager with any internal debt reviews
  • Debt collection management of a specialised ledger
  • Building relations with key external clients, and responding to inquiries
  • Keeping account records up to date
  • Working as part of a global team to achieve cash collection targets
  • Intercompany account reconciliations
Skills and experiences we are looking for:We are looking for someone with experience of working within/leading successful collection teams, someone who is able to work at pace in a high-growth and fast-paced business where change happens frequently. As you will be leading a team, previous experiencein developing and leadership is required.
