Job Description

**URGENT NEW ROLE**Credit Controller, 6 month fixed term contract, likely to extend.Full time, Mon - Fri - hybrid office and home working.£24,000 - £26,000 paClient has an office in Newcastle City CentreClient DetailsMy client is a leading financial services firm based in based in Newcastle.Description

  • Managing communication with customers in a professional manner by telephone and email
  • Ensuring timely account payments are maintained
  • Extensive liaison with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure invoice/query-handling procedures are adhered to
  • Improve and implement debt collection processes when there are any overdue invoices or payments, and initiate legal procedures if necessary
  • Resolving any queries from customers and management as required
  • Handling of information with speed, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Processing and allocation of received debtors payments
  • Ad hoc duties as required
ProfileThe successful candidate will come from a credit control background with a proven track record of debt collection.
  • Accounting knowledge preferable
  • Computing skills.
  • Customer focussed with excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills, active listener. Telephone and email.
  • Strong attention to detail and can deliver a best-in-class sales and service experience
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
