A great opportunity has opened up in the Newcastle market to join a leading accountancy firm as their Corporate Tax Supervisor.Working in a supporting role to the Tax Senior Manager my client is looking for an experienced professional who is able to take the lead on all aspects of the firms compliance portfolio.Your experience may have come from working in a specialist corporate tax position or you may be an Accountant who undertakes corporate tax as part of your current position and keen to do more.Ultimately we are looking for someone with a desire to run the day to day management of compliance. This will include review of corporate tax computations and P11Ds, managing workflow in the team both the submissions and payment reminders, monthly quarterly instalment deadlines and preparing/reviewing the calculations. You will also work closely with accounts on finalisation meetings and attending pre year end meetings including forecasting corporate tax liabilities for clients. There will be opportunities in the future to attend onsite tax reviews with audit clientsWith great exposure and control to the day to day compliance function this role requires an organised professional who can work to tight deadlines.We are looking for an individual with corporate tax experience, ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualifications would be helpful but not essential. Those studying in tax will be supported with their exams.This presents an excellent proposition to those wishing to advance their career and widen their tax exposure both from a technical and client perspective.This role is based in the office but does offer some flexibility to work from home when required.
