Job Description

Contracts Manager - Newcastle My client, a major multidisciplinary Consultancy specialising in Civil, Structural and Water Engineering are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their innovative Engineering team in Newcastle.My client aims to connect people and places while supporting thriving economies, they work on a wide variety of schemes within both the private and public sectors. They are a unique team who specialise in infrastructure and buildings and have a passion forkeeping the country moving so communities can prosper.Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating CAD and junior resources within strict time frames.
  • Detailed design submissions, design support and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Maintaining high standards in the delivery of both Civil and Structural design projects.
  • Focusing on Health and Safety, and ensuring all correct procedures used.
  • Delivering very high standards of technical quality.
Requirements: Ideally, my client is looking for someone who has gained significant experience in either Project Management or Civil Engineering design, with a good working knowledge of the NEC3/NEC4 Project Manager or Term Service Manager Accreditation contract. The candidatewill be educated to at least a HNC/HND/Degree level or equivalent and possess a CSCS card. Experience of the tendering process is vital for the role, and my client is looking for someone with a strong local network of contact which can be built upon. The idealcandidate will be a personable character with strong determination and drive to build relationships and lead a team. My client would like the candidate to hold a full UK Driving License.Benefits:
