Job Description

Blair West issupportingan exciting technology-powered scale-up business with a growing customer of over 27,000 users. Streamlining household bills into one fixed monthly payment this business delivers easier financial planning and budgeting and saves customerstime removing the need to administer multiple supplier accounts.Reporting to the Head of Development, you will be a vital link between our ambitious business objectives and the technical capabilities of our software development team. Youll be involved in various stages of the software development lifecycle, from pre-projectactivities like drafting business cases to creating detailed specifications for implementation. You will work daily with the development team, UX/UI team, and other cross-functional teams such as sales and customer support to help support the development ofautomation and more streamlined processes. The opportunity:

  • You will draft business cases and collate information to assist in impact assessments and cost/benefit analyses and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
  • Collecting and documenting business and system requirements (or user stories) through workshops, surveys, and liaising with users and stakeholders.
  • Supporting workshops to define and document business requirements.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis, and provide data to support the estimation of costs and potential solutions’ timeframes.
  • Ensure key data is measurable throughout the project lifecycle to support benefit realisation analysis.
  • Own the delivery of a new internal feature rollout.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, and the ambition to grow in your career.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in requirement-gathering tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
