Job Description

About the role Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Administrator to join our Payroll team within our Enabling Functions team in Newcastle.Role Purpose:To ensure delivery of applicable scope of service against defined service measures and provide benefits support for HR processes requiring changes to benefits and other associated information. Ensuring the HR systems, trackers and personal records are updatedaccurately and in a timely fashion.To be the first point of contact for related queries in relation to current employees in the organisation providing support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining people related policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner. What youll be doing

  • Enter data into the HR systems and any other recording systems ensuring this is up to date and the data entered is accurate whilst maintaining relevant documentation and filing systems, whether electronic or manual.
  • Work within agreed deadlines to provide reports and information to third party providers of the company benefit schemes.
  • Define and maintain solid communication channels with relevant Third Parties, HRSS Teams and Reward Partners.
  • Contributes to the effective working of HRSS teams to ensure seamless service line delivery.
  • Ensure a focus on accuracy through self-review and peer checking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engage with wider HRSS initiatives.
  • Validation and eligibility approval of benefits, especially electric vehicle submissions
  • Loading of the flexible benefits, including weekly/monthly reconciliations, and feeding back any fallout.
  • Working closely with the Payroll Team to ensure compliance is adhered to while administering the benefits
