Job Description

Job DescriptionThe client is looking for Azure experts with experience using Azure Security, Azure Sentinel and Defender as you will be working to help develop the next version of the company Cloud platform.With responsibilities creating tools, automations and accelerators to create and manage Azure environments, the day to day role involves a mixture of developing, monitoring and expanding the security for their Azure operations.Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify solutions based on Azure technologies to monitor and secure SAP system operations.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy any number of security enhancements and automation. These pipelines will be modularised and re-usable across similar solutions.
  • Contribute towards our library of high-quality documentation, both technical and user facing.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and routine update of current solutions.
  • Security and Cost Management - evaluate existing applications and platforms and give recommendations for enhancing security and reducing operational cost.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Azure: Our intention is to offer services to customers in the same cloud as where their resources are located making good general expertise here a must
  • Build and Deployment Tools: Azure DevOps is our platform of choice
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform is preferred here but experience with something like ARM is a good alternative
  • OpenSearch: our persistence of choice (having migrated from Elasticsearch), which all feeds back to one of several data lakes
  • Azure Security Center and Sentinel: our system of record for security analysis and insights
One of these certifications would give you a big step up
  • Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
  • Azure Security Operations Analyst (SC-200)
  • Azure Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
Technologies youll have been exposed to
  • Analysis experience in Python
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • NoSQL and Relational Database Administration (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and MSSQL)
  • Scripting languages, at least one of Powershell/Bash/Python
  • Linux System Administration
  • Git
  • Azure Security Center, Sentinel
