Job Description

The tasks will be varied and you will be exposed to lots of different areas of the audit field including:

  • Planning audit assignments
  • Identifying key risks, assessing how to test them
  • Assessing and reviewing the budgets to completing an analytical review
  • Leading audit engagements, supervising, delegating and reviewing the work of trainee auditors and ensuring work is ready for manager review
  • Being accountable to the managers and audit RIs for the completion of the audit file
  • Being responsible for a small portfolio of audit clients, reporting directly to the Audit RI
  • Leading on the rollout of new ideas and processes within the team
  • Taking a lead on team training initiatives
  • Have strong relationships with other departments within the firm to identify cross-selling opportunities and provide seamless client service.
  • Delivering information to clients in a timely manner whilst providing in-depth client and industry knowledge.
  • Monitoring budgets on audit engagements, and being involved in the month-end billing processes.
  • Being responsible for the management of your own workload but also, the workload of others within the team across multiple audit engagements.

As well as the above you will be ACA/ACCA qualified and have experience of planning and completing audits as well as using an analytical review process and having experience of delegating and reviewing work of trainee auditors within the team.
