Area Sales ManagerLocation: North-EastSalary: £40,000-£45,000 with OTE £80,000+ plus company carAre you ready to redefine success in the dynamic world of New Build Residential sales We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to join our innovative team based in the vibrant North-East region. As a key player in the industry, youwill be instrumental in forging strong partnerships with Housing Builders, Developers, Off-Site Manufacturers, Main Contractors, and more.Your Mission: Elevate Sales, Exceed ExpectationsWhat Youll Do:

  • Tailored Sales Approach: Utilise technical solutions, product expertise, Value Engineering (VE) solutions, and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) communications to educate stakeholders on current building regulations and SAP requirements.
  • Goal-Centric: Achieve and surpass annual budget targets for your area.
  • Key Account Management: Foster relationships with Housing Builders, Developers, Manufacturers, Contractors, and industry partners. Maximise the potential of our CRM package to ensure efficient account management.
  • Strategic Growth: Sign two new house builders annually and renew expiring agreements.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Deliver at least one CPD every other month and actively participate in industry functions such as CIBSE Dinners.
  • End-to-End Management: Follow opportunities from specification to order, ensuring a comprehensive approach from "cradle to grave."
  • Collaborative Spirit: Communicate seamlessly with Distribution, Social Housing, and Commercial/Industrial team members to share valuable insights.
Key Requirements:
  • Commercial Prowess: Strong sales skills with an in-depth understanding of the sales cycle.
  • Technical Acumen: Grasp technical issues and deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Time Management: Minimise travel, maximising face time with customers. Prioritise activities efficiently and manage administrative tasks effectively.
  • Communication Mastery: Strong communication skills using various methods to build lasting relationships.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in TEAMS, CRM, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Multifaceted Presentation: Build and present compelling value propositions using multimedia to engage multi-level organisations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Understand the importance of win/win scenarios and measure your performance, taking full responsibility for results in your area.
  • Business Developer: Proactively identify, seek, and create opportunities for new business.
