Job Description

Agile Delivery LeadHome Based, occasional travel to HQ (North-East based)This position will be responsible for playing a key role in the introduction and evolvement of agile and lean processes into several delivery teams, focusing on servant leadership principles. The role will also be responsible for sharing best practice across Agile / Scrum / Kanban with other Agile Delivery Leads across the organisation.The business generates multi-billions in revenue globally, are a specialist sector brand with huge technology ambitions that need help on the delivery front. We’re really looking for someone that wants to work at enterprise level and contribute to a globally recognised organisation.Whether you are an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master or Agile Coach as long as you are focused on servant leadership principles, empowerment and coaching we’d love to hear from you.Key areas of the role include:

  • Be a role model, demonstrating a strong delivery ethic using agile values and lean principles through your thinking, processes, and actions
  • Nurture and inspire the team to take responsibility for their delivery process and the outcomes they deliver
  • Empower and encourage the team to focus on delivering value
  • Being an active participant and facilitator of important team activities (e.g. daily stand-up, retrospectives etc.)
  • Help the team to "fail fast" using data to build learning and support continuous improvement
  • Maintain high levels of communication with other teams and key stakeholders
  • Bring people together to solve problems and share success
  • Introduce and evolve agile and lean techniques through the practice of continuous improvement
  • Essential:
  • Demonstrable experience working and introducing Agile and or Kanban to a reputable organisation, ideally at scale
  • Strong communication and influence skills
  • Demonstrable development of cross-functional teams through coaching and mentoring
  • Desirable:
  • Scrum Master or Kanban professional qualification
  • Located as a home-based role with travel to the office where necessary, the role can be based from Newcastle, Leeds, York, Thirsk, Gateshead, Durham, Darlington, Stockton or anywhere commutable to these areas on an irregular basisKey workds include Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Delivery Manager
