Are you an experience Accounts Payable Assistant looking for a salary increase with a forward thinking and progressive business BMC Recruitment Group are working with a client in Gateshead who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant on a full time permanent contract. There is the opportunity for remote working.Responsibilities:* Accurate input of invoices, ensuring they match to the purchase order and goods received.* Reconcile supplier statements monthly, raising queries & requesting invoices from suppliers.* Advise treasury on any payments to be included on the BACS run.* Input Petty Cash expenses onto Irium system.* Set up new supplier accounts.* Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.* Resolving queries both internally and externally around supplier invoices.* General Filing - electronically where possible.* Answer the overflow telephone in a timely manner, screen and direct calls to the correct person.* Perform other clerical administration duties across the organisation as and when required.Person Specification: * Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience * Experience using I.T including office software. * Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.Benefits & Rewards* 24 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays * Company Pension Scheme* Critical Illness Cover* Private Medical Insurance* Employee Assistance Programme* Death in Service* Benefits Hub* Cycle to Work Scheme
