Job Description

My client, a leading supplier of IT solutions, is currently recruiting for a Repair Centre Engineer to join them on a contract in StokeThe contract will have an initial duration of 3 months (then rolling)The position will be completingRepairs to component level, servicing and testing of a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment

  • Configurations/builds
  • Fault finding to component level
  • Repair and refurbishment of EPoS equipment - till hardware i.e. pc base units, touch screens, back office printers, hand held terminals, access points and TV screens
The successful applicant should haveExperience completing repairs and configuration of IT hardware - ideally EPOS equipment
  • Previous experience in a workshop based position would be advantageous
  • Experience in the use of electronic test and fault finding equipment
Working hours
  • Working hours are Monday - Friday (8am until 5pm) hours may vary at times
  • Rate details - £100 per day (umbrella company rate subject to deductions and weekly umbrella fee)
This has been deemed and assessed and inside IR35 roleThe above rates are the umbrella company rates
