Job Description

Reed Education are proud to be working alongside an Ofsted Outstanding specialist school in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for an experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join them on a full time, long term basis, starting as soon as possible.The school provides an outstanding education for children and young adults with a range of learning, emotional, physical and sensory needs. Working on a 1:1 basis, you will be supporting a child who is non verbal and has complex learning needs. The student is very active and physically able, so someone who can keep up with them is a must!What you will need;

  • Experience managing challenging behaviour
  • Experience supporting children and young adults with SLCN requirements and complex needs
  • Experience working on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis
  • Dedication, initiative and resilience to overcome issues faced
