Our client is a specialist consultancy offering a range of services to businesses and individuals. They are seeking a technician - Researcher to join their existing team to support the business expansion due to the increased workload. They are seekingan enthusiastic individual who is a strong team player who possesses strong skills in following a process, dealing with projects and is highly accurate. This role is working for a small bespoke business and offers a great opportunity to develop and furtheryour expertise in this niche area. The role will require you to work with a minimum of supervision to prepare technical drawings, usually of 2D plans. The research work is wide-ranging in nature and content with the preparation of reports as required. Thisrole is offering excellent opportunities to develop and work towards becoming a chartered surveyor. The role will include:* Preparing computer-generated plans on Vectorworks and contributing to the development of the firms capability in 3D modelling.* Planning policy research and document preparation for site allocations, planning applications and environmental impact assessments (EIAs) etc.* Preparing written reports and planning statements.* Assisting with the project management of EIAs and with the preparation of scoping requests and full EIA statements.* Supporting mineral resource appraisals from desk study research through to site investigation in support of site allocation promotion and planning applications.* Liaising as required with contractors, clients, local planning authorities and regulatory authorities. Candidate Requirements:* Preferably 2D experience* Someone with an interest in geology/geography* Previous experience in working on projects is advantageous* MS Office - Word, Excel conversant* Full UK driving Licence* Someone who can work on their own with minimal supervision* A self-disciplined person who can stay focused, good time management* Numerate person Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pmSalary: £20.000 Per AnnumBrampton Recruitment is an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
