We are recruiting a radiographer to work at our site based in Stoke on Trent - you will also have to travel to our site in Newcastle Under Lyme.You need to be PCN Level 2 qualified however if do you have OCN Level 1 we can still consider your application and offer some extra training.The main duties will be:" Perform Radiography using Iridium /Cobalt sources" Develop Radiographs" View and sanction Radiographs against Def Stan, ASTM or other acceptance standards ( for both internal and sub-contractors Rads )" Produce Radiographic techniques and when required arrange level 3 approval." Manage Radiography load and use sun contractors when required" For non-compliant castings, sanction repairs or Rejection" Create radiography documentation including Radiographic reports" When required discuss with Customer radiography results- witness inspection" Manage equipment maintenance to ensure safe reliable operation" Perform LPI Inspection when required" Maintain Heat treatment records (digital charts)" Manage Radiographic storage" Purchase all radiography consumable" Maintain and keep up to date records of Rad film developer machine" Arrange purchase, installation and approved disposal of rad Sources" Liaise with local environmental agencies to ensure compliance with legislation relating to site Radiography Operation"We do need someone who is an experienced radiographer and has the ability to perform the above duties, there will be support and guidance given.In return the company will provide a competitive remuneration package, a solid working environment and we provide a fun environment to work in.
