Job Description

QC Inspector (Production)My client is looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their Production Team.This permanent role is based in Keele, Staffordshire. Monday - Friday 9-5pm and pays between £21K- £25K for the right candidate.Working closely with the Quality Control Manager, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent in a Scientific discipline and/or 3 years experience in a Quality/ Manufacturing role
  • Working knowledge of laboratory techniques or product testing.
  • Organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills inc verbal, non-verbal and written to ensure
The role involves:
  • Testing the clients products (in-process or finished) to ensure the product meets specification and quality standards.
  • Performing specified inspections and tests in accordance with procedures and sampling plans.
  • Acceptance or rejection and appropriate disposal of products.
  • Scheduling testing to minimise delays to production or final release of product.
  • Ensuring all inspection and test results are documented correctly.
  • Preparing reports, presenting results and effectively communicating with colleagues.
  • Assisting with resolving quality related issues and the implementation of corrective or preventative actions.
  • Providing input for Research and Development and data analysis.
  • Gowning up to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Storage and handling of medicinal substances in line with GMP Requirements.
