Job Description

QC Inspector (Medical Device) KeeleA great opportunity for an individual to join an international medical device company that engineers, manufactures, and markets world leading products.Role responsibilities:To ensure pre-production raw materials meet specification and are of acceptable quality prior to acceptance.

  • Inspect pre-production raw materials in accordance with specified sampling plans
  • Approve incoming materials by confirming acceptance to specification
  • Reject and disposition materials not meeting specification.
  • Ensure inspection and sampling activities are planned adequately to minimise delay of material availability for production
  • Liaise with Senior Quality Engineer and Warehouse & Transport Manager on issues found during material inspection.
  • Document inspection, test results and metrics in accordance with specified requirements
  • Assist in resolving quality-related issues in a timely manner and support implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Ability to gown up and work in a clean room environment as required.
Role requirements:
  • Worked within health care (medical devices or pharmaceutical) quality or manufacturing.
  • Understanding of quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Organisational skills and an ability to work to tight time lines.
  • Exceptional team skills.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills when liaising within the company and with external contacts.
  • Be able to drive (will need to drive between sites occasionally)
