Our client is a leading legal firm, they have an excellent reputation and are a stable employer. They are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their team based in Newcastle under Lyme. Duties will include:* Processing of starters and leavers * Making appropriate salary adjustments, statutory payments and adjustments* Processing P45s, starters declarations and P60s* Amendment of personal details* Processing of overtime payments* Assisting with P11D calculations* Reviewing and reconciling payroll to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time * Dealing with fee earner/operational payroll queries and helping to resolve issuesFor the Payroll Coordinator role, it would be good to see candidates with:* Previous experience working within a payroll team is essential, ideally within a multi-site company* Up-to-date knowledge of PAYE rules and pensions* Strong interpersonal skills * Demonstrable Microsoft Excel skills * Attention to detail essential* Eager to learn* Good organisational/time management skills * Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a busy, fast-paced team* Able to build good working relationships * Ability to work to tight deadlinesHours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per weekSalary: Up to £25k per annumThis role would suit people who also have the following experience: Payroll Assistant, Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, Payroll Coordinator.Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.Job Reference Number: 21182
