Job Description

Im seeking an experienced, level headed Operations Supervisor for a role within a friendly, familiy run distribution business.

  • Scanning in trailors, moving HGVs and preparing for loading
  • Printing load sheets
  • Assist with briefing drivers in the Morning and marshalling yard
  • Preparing 2nd runs ready for loading late morning
  • Liasing with and assisting drivers and customers via phone or text at delivery/ collection points throughout the day. Answering phone and general admin
  • Loading/unloading vehicles
  • Checking and managing vehicle defects
  • Driving a Counterbalance FLT
This is an exciting role for someone who is able to motivate others. Successful applicants will have at least 2 years experience in HGV route planning, FLT driving and van driving.
