Job Description

Our client, one of the leading providers in lifestyle protection are looking to recruit additional Mobile Phone Technicians for our thriving business.As a Mobile Phone Technician your role will be to inspect, refurbish, test, troubleshoot and program electronic equipment. Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude is required.This is a permanent Mon -Fri 8.30 -5pm role Salary 19-20k Dependent on experience with IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWRole & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct root case failure analysis and troubleshooting on suspected defective devices
  • Performs electromechanical assembly using hand and electric tools
  • Performs component level and board repairs
  • Identify and report root cause deficiencies
  • Identify and report routine process deficiencies
  • Test, repair and program devices
  • Perform soldering and de-soldering using handheld soldering and hot air equipment
  • Work with care and urgency in order to meet production goals
  • Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities
  • Refer to and follow Standard Operating Procedures to perform the job duties
  • Use a computer to enter data into the company database
  • Physically move material as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
    • The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Knowledgeable in analog, digital and RF disciplines
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to read and understand schematics
  • Previous experience in repair
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain a minimum 2.0 device per hour when repairing/refurbishing devices
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use a personal computer and enter data
