Staffordshire and Stoke Wellbeing ServiceImproving Access to Psychological TherapiesCognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP Accredited IAPT High Intensity Worker)The North Staffordshire team as part of the Staffordshire and Stoke Wellbeing team is an innovative primary care mental health service that has built on its success as a high performing IAPT site. We are a multidisciplinary team providing a range of effective treatments for a broad range of emotional and physical health problems in primary care. An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our team delivering high quality evidence based treatment for anxiety disorders and depression.You will have a core NHS professional qualification, and a post graduate level qualification in CBT , and be eligible for BABCP accreditation.Promoting excellence in the delivery of CBT, we are committed to continuing clinical training/development, supervision and support for all therapists. The service has valuable experience and proven performance in IAPT service delivery. Covering some of the most beautiful countryside of the Peak District National Park, we are a friendly team, committed to promoting wellbeing of our workers, as well as our clients.As a centre for research as well as clinical practice, we work in partnership with Staffordshire and Keele Universities. All therapists contribute to ongoing clinical research projects, and are actively encouraged to pursue their own research interests.The service covers Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Leek/Staffordshire Moorlands areas.
