Job Description

* Graduate role* Working towards RICS / RTPI* Excellent TrainingOur client who are specialist consultancy offering a range of services are seeking a switched-on Graduate to develop into a Chartered Surveyor. This role is working for a small bespoke business and offers great opportunity to develop and further your expertisein this niche area.* As a Graduate Surveyor you will have the opportunity to be involved with a portfolio of projects* Planning work which varies from site allocation promotion for housing, minerals, and leisure schemes through to full planning applications and environmental impact assessments (EIAs).* Assisting with the project management of EIAs and associated work including preparation of requests for scoping and full EIA statements.* Carrying out mineral resource appraisals from desk study research through to site investigation in support of site allocations promotion and planning applications.* Liaising as required with clients as well as local planning authorities and other Government Agencies.* Preparing computer generated plans on Vectorworks and contributing to the development of the firms capability in 3D modelling.* Preparing written reports and conducting necessary research. Candidate Requirements:* Be working towards an RICS / RTPI accredited course in planning and property would be an advantage* Degree or relevant qualification in geology, geography or town and country planning or mineral surveying* Be able to coordinate all aspects of activities as required with minimum supervision* Demonstrate good motivation and initiative on all projects undertaken* Possess excellent communication and report writing skills* Be prepared to work as part of a small team* Currently hold a UK driving licence and have access to own transportHours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pmSalary: £20,000 - £22,000 Per AnnumBrampton Recruitment is an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
