Job Description

Proactive Personnel Ltd are recruiting on behalf of one our clients based in the Stoke on Trent area.Responsibilities:

  • To carry out all aspects of Sheetmetal work from light gauge to fully welded ductwork
  • To carry out all aspects of Fabrications and Steelwork work from general support steelwork through to ladders stairways and access platforms including welding.
  • To carry out all aspects of Installation Site works from light gauge ductwork to fully welded systems including support steelwork and access platforms including fans silencers and dust collectors.
Must be conversant and able to work with all types of materials from Mild steel to Stainless and Aluminium.Ensuring that everything meets the required specifications.Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with HSE guidelinesUnderstand and follow basic CAD drawingsEnsuring the workshop / clients sites are organised, clean, tidy, and safe.Skills & Experience RequiredThe ideal candidate will be enthusiastic & flexible, self-managed, motivated, and hard working with a positive attitude.Able to work accurately & efficiently with attention to detail and ensuring time frames are achieved.Good communication and people skills required to liaise with other departments & colleagues and clients.Good timekeeping and attendance required.Any Licences connected to the above trades would be advantageous.Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 16:30pm / Friday 8:00am - 3.30pmGood opportunity with overtime available.
