Job Description

A fantastic opportunity to join a market leading Independent Firm to manage the residential and commercial property management team.The Purpose of the Role:To ensure the smooth running and continued growth of the commercial and residential property portfolio. to place into management. To lead teams and ensure highest levels of service at all times.

  • Develop the portfolio and team by providing professional advice to all teams regarding property and asset management matters.
  • Meet personal targets and ensure that customers are effectively managed.
  • Manage personal short and long term business opportunities to create a consistent, balanced and accurate pipeline.
  • Create strategic relationships with channels to generate leads.
  • Identify key decision makers in customer organisations and develop strong and trusted relationships with them
  • Lead all aspects of portfolio management including Tenant and Landlord matters, vacant space, lettings, sub-letting, budgeting and forecasting and accounts management.
  • Oversee the service charge management and the commercial rental collection
  • Ensure that rent reviews and lease renewals are carried out.
  • Oversight, management and monitoring of external agents including arranging appointments and reappointments as required.
  • Preparation and supervision of projects, refurbishments etc.
  • Oversee and build good relationships with tenants, staff, agents and advisors.
  • Assess training needs and ensure that the relevant level of training, development and coaching is available to all team members so that training needs are met, aiming to improve both individual and organisational effectiveness and that everyone is encouragedand supported in their professional development, giving employees the best opportunities to develop their abilities and careers within the group.
  • Ensure that company policies are implemented consistently.
  • Coach and mentor staff through a system of regular scheduled team and individual review meetings, as well as accompanied site visits. Provide positive & targeted written feedback following all such accompanied visits.
  • Ensure that the team is kept fully up to date with the latest changes in legislation, technical knowledge and best practice including (but not restricted to) attendance at team briefings; context sessions; monthly and quarterly workshops and webinars.
