Job Description

Enterprise Business Development ManagerMy client is a fast-growth Fintech in the Payments space who have recently secured £300m to continue their expansion so this is an exciting time to join the business. They are backed by some of the UKs top investors and service over 500 of the UKs most successfuland growing retail companies.They are a pioneer and leading provider of interest free credit that helps UK retailers to increase their average order values and reduce basket abandonment. They have won multiple awards including No.3 in the Deloitte Fast 50, Prolific North Tech AwardsFintech Company of the Year 2020 and Tech Growth Business of the Year Awards 2020.They are looking for a dedicated high-performing Enterprise Business Development Manager. Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you will be involved in planning and executing commercial, sales and marketing strategies and being accountablefor Enterprise growth. Nurturing of relationships, opening otherwise closed doors and speaking with the key decision makers at all levels will be essential in this role.Key responsibilities for the Enterprise Business Development Manager

  • Be a key player in the execution of the Sales strategy.
  • Provide regular accurate forecasting and revenue reporting.
  • Identify under-penetrated or new business segments and opportunities, prioritise where to focus, plan how to target them and execute those plans.
  • Be able to negotiate and structure long-term agreements with enterprise retailers
  • Lead and mentor other members of the Enterprise Team and engage with customers at the highest level, to ensure profitable acquisition for the business.
Requirements for the Enterprise Development Manager Proven track record in B2B sales acquisitions and delivering against sales targets Previous sales experience and a passion for e-commerce and finance products Solid understanding of ecommerce platforms incl. Shopify, WooCommerce Magento and Open Cart Extensive management experience preferably from sales and marketing within car rental, wider automotive, travel and hospitality or retail service sectors. Experience of working in a field-based role, coupled with a combination of office/home working. Knowledge of a wide range of marketing and sales techniques and concepts.
