Electrical Engineer - Newcastle under LymeSalary up to 45kExperienced Electrical Engineer who work in a modern production facility in Newcastle under Lyme to support the production team.Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday Nights 9pm to 5.30amThe candidate A good working knowledge of programmable logic controls and control systems The ability to respond promptly and effectively to breakdowns A knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance regimes Some mechanical knowledge (motors, gearboxes, pumps) would be advantageous but not essential. Reliability A logical approach to fault finding and problem solvingQualifications City and Guilds Level 3 or ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Completion of a recognised apprenticeship Experience of working in an production industry would be advantageous but not essentialTraining The successful applicants will spend time on the day shift familiarising themselves with our plant and machinery before moving to the night shift Ongoing support from our Head Engineer
