DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR37 hoursfull timeLocation: NewcastleSalary: £20,980 - £26,527 (depending on experience) Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual to join our busy Marketing, PR and Schools Liaison team in the role of Digital Content Creator. Your primary focus will be to positively promote NSCG, and the opportunities it offers and drive learner recruitment acrossStaffordshire to our wide-ranging, outstanding provision.It goes without saying that you will be a creative thinker, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to plan, produce and create multi-channel content in a variety of formats. You will be highly responsive, and flexible, with a proven track record indelivering first-class customer service. A great communicator, and a fantastic team player, you will have the ability to build strong relationships within the team and with wider curriculum colleagues to support recruitment and conversion activities.Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Producing visual content for communications and campaigns including, but not limited to: websites, social media, emails, printed publications, leaflets, posters, display advertising, and other promotional support materials, as required.
  • Acting as a brand champion, working with the Colleges lead creative agency and colleagues in the wider marketing team to create campaign assets, ensuring branding and tone of voice is applied consistently and coherently through all communications and channels.
  • Working with colleagues to develop and implement a social media content plan for the academic year, whilst also identifying and capitalising on emerging social trends, channels and wider digital developments.
  • Monitoring all social media accounts, including those operated at departmental level, and making proactive recommendations on increasing engagement with the various audiences.
  • Proactively recommending new and innovative ways of delivering digital content.
  • Working in a live environment, operating professional level video and photographic equipment to capture rich content from key events and activities, to showcase life at NSCG.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Whilst proven experience in a similar role is highly advantageous, it is not essential. Applications will be considered from recent graduates who are able to demonstrate an exceptional creative portfolio backed up examples of any live briefs or projectwork. You will join an experienced team who are friendly and knowledgeable, with a wealth of sector experience and as such, full training will be given to the right candidate.
  • Ability to develop, produce and edit a wide variety of high-quality content including video, photos, graphics and written text.
  • Strong creative skills and an eye for detail.
  • Experience of utilising some, if not all of the following: Adobe Creative programmes such as InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere. Social creative and scheduling tools such as Canva and Hootsuite and email marketing systems such as CampaignMonitor and MailChimp.
  • Experience of managing social media campaigns, across channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and Youtube,
  • Ability to work flexibly, with occasional evening and weekend working expected to cover key college events.
  • Must have access to own vehicle and ability to travel within region for business purposes.
