Job Profile for Building Surveyor - LF267786Bennett and Game currently have the pleasure of representing an award-winning Consultancy based in Newark who are seeking a Building Surveyor to join them, on a full time permanent basis. The Building Surveyor will be working on a variety of education, commercialand residential projects across the region. This multidisciplinary consultancy offers a range of services, assisting with any architectural, surveying and civil engineering needs across the whole of the UK. Their projects range between multiple sectors includingRetail, Commercial, Residential, Leisure, Education, Heritage and Industrial, with project valuing up to £20M.Building Surveyor Position Benefits

Building Surveyor Position Overview
  • Working as part of a small Building Surveying team that are involved in a variety of different sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, residential and heritage.
  • Current areas of work include:
  • Small project works, including specification writing, Schedules of work, preparing JCT Contracts and Contract Administration role.
  • Condition reports.
  • Party Wall Awards.
  • Diagnosis and remedy of building defects.
  • Pre-acquisition reports.
  • Preparation of dilapidation reports.
  • Negotiation of dilapidation claims.
Building Surveyor Position Requirements
  • Hold a relevant degree in Building Surveying or similar
  • Ideally MRICS or MCIOB qualified (not essential)
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Building Surveyor
  • Ability to use AutoCAD desirable, but not
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Full driving
