Do you want to work in a friendly, committed and established service where your knowledge, experience and skills will be valued Join the Farndon Unit as an Associate Specialist where you will provide care for women with personality disorders and mentalillness in an established and well-run service.You will focus on assessing, managing and supporting individuals both on their new to be established acute ward and assisting across the rest of the hospital site, which offers rehabilitation and low secure care for these women with complex difficulties,with the aim of helping them to return to community living.Working alongside 3 Consultant Psychiatrists and a wider multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to deliver person-centred care, treatment and support to some of the most vulnerable people in society.You will be able to join a dynamic peer group with your Consultant colleagues within the region and will work with a Consultant supervisor. You will also be supported to join the Psychiatrist Mentorship Scheme to support your individual and career developmentif you wish.There is an on-call element to this role and the post holder will be part of a first tier on call rota. There are long established Consultant on call arrangements in place to support this.The Farndon Unit is located in Newark and is part of IMPACT Provider Collaborative in the region with close links to NHS services with established care pathways. We are rated good across all domains by the CQC and forge to maintain high standards. The FarndonUnit has excellent transport links and is commutable from Lincoln, Nottingham, Sleaford and Mansfield.Your responsibilities will include:
