Sales Ledger Clerk

Job Description

Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Sales Ledger Clerk for a central Cardiff based business.The Sales Ledger Clerk will report into the Finance Director. They will consider both full and part time applications.

• Taking full responsibility for the entire sales ledger process, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Ensuring all customer accounts are settled within their agreed credit terms
• Posting sales journal entries for banking receipts, ensuring customer accounts are maintained and accurate
• Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the operations team, ensuring all customer queries are resolved in a timely manner
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required (including cross training & covering team members absences)

Key skill requirements include:

• Previous Sales Ledger experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and staff
• Must be highly organised and assertive with strong time management skills

• Experience of Sage is strongly preferred.
