Job Description

Commercial Account Manager - £28-£35k (permanent)Junior Commercial Account Mananger - £23k-£28k temp initially - permanency anticipated Excellent opportunity within one of the UKs fastest growing pharmaceutical group of companies.General Purpose of Role:

  • To proactively manage significant Commercial customer accounts via both existing client relationships and through establishing relationships with new customers transitioned over from Project Management.
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Satisfy customer needs through the delivery of excellent friendly support and advice, leveraging relationship management skills to ensure excellent customer service delivery leading to customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Using negotiation skills, tact and assertiveness to actively manage the customer and ensure on-time invoicing takes place to meet financial targets.
  • Management of the Commercial account
  • To actively drive customer requirements
  • To deal directly with client base
  • Establish and build strong working relationships
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries
  • Investigate, track and resolve customer and client concerns, identify trends and implement solutions.
  • Establish and strengthen customer relationships
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints (interacting with internal support groups and QA).
  • Lead the team SQDC meetings (on a rota).
  • Order Processing within SAGE LINE 500.
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated internal resource.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, enquiries, comments, transactions and actions taken.
  • Follow up on customer interactions.
  • Specific Qualifications:
  • GCSEs/A Levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Maths, English.
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry desirable
  • Previous account management
  • Previous Work Experience:
  • Experience of working in an admin environment.
  • Previous experience in Pharma / Clinical services background desirable
  • Specific Knowledge / Skills Competence:
  • Commercial awareness
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organisational ability.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, often utilising use of computer package and software. (Proficient in standard SAGE, Word, CRM and Excel applications)
  • Face to face communication.
  • Accurate documentation.
  • Problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Acts on own initiative.
