Job Description

Teacher of MusicFull Time MPS/UPSKentTerm Time Teachers are working with a fantastic school in Kent who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Music to join them and deliver lessons to students of all ages and abilities. The school is very open to applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers. The school is a very supportive environment, and offers a strong NQT training programme. There is also the possibility of increased responsibility for an excellent candidate.Key Tasks:

  • Seek to create the highest standards for all by promoting enthusiasm for Music and through extra-curricular activities to develop students enjoyment in learning.
  • Assess that school learning objectives have been achieved and use them to improve specific aspects of teaching.
  • Mark and monitor students work and set targets for progress.
  • Assess and record students progress systematically and keep records to check work is understood and completed, monitor strengths and weaknesses, inform planning and recognise the level at which the student is achieving.
  • Undertake assessment of students as requested by examination bodies, departmental and school procedures.
