Job Description

My client is looking for a motivated, accomplished and conscientious finance professional to head up its accounts team. Working closely with the Managing Director and the rest of the finance team, you will be responsible for the smooth day to day runningof the finance department.Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and overseeing the accounts team
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monitoring monthly cashflow
  • Managing fixed assets
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Processing monthly payroll
  • Managing bank payments
  • Financial reporting
  • Preparing annual budgets
  • Preparing annual financial statements for audit
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Good people management skills
  • Qualified or part qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA or qualified AAT or qualified by experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Sage
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
