  • To install and configure laptops and computers across the sites, with a virtual image, using software activation and individual servers to ensure systems are working as required.
  • To personalise individual devices as required based on the needs of the individual pupil or staff, and the year group or department they belong to.
  • To assist the IT Department in any aspects of installing software or programmes to the sites, whether to a local machine, virtual machine or server.
  • To remove and install hardware to laptops and computers across the sites to the specifications needed of the device.
  • Setting Up Peripherals

It is the IT Assistants responsibility to set up those peripherals and ensure that they are both functional and secure.
