Deputy Manager - Children & Young People | Nantgaredig, Carmarthenshire | Full Time | £31,000 + Overtime + Sleep allowanceHafan Saff Cyf, is a provider of Children and Young Persons Residential Services. Established in 2013 we are a privately owned company which currently runs four services and are in the process of establishing a fifth.We are committed to high quality, child focused care and to developing an engaged and professional staff team. We achieve this by proactively developing the skills and experience of our staff through regular supervision, ongoing support, training and a competencybased, appraisal process.We are currently seeking to hire a Deputy Manager to work with us at our home in Carmarthen. Are you the right person for us

• Ideally you will already hold, as a minimum, QCF Level 4 Advanced Practitioner, Children and Young People or be working towards its completion.
• You will have gained at least 2 years experience working within a Childrens Residential Setting in a supervisory position.

What will your role as a Deputy Manager look like

• You will be the nominated person in charge of the home in the Registered Managers absence. Such responsibility may potentially come into effect at short notice and out of normal shift rotation.

• Take responsibility for specific aspects of running the home as directed by the Manager.
• Enforce standards.

• Have up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation and its application to the homes operations.
