There is no necessary experience required as full training will be provided. However, you need to have the ability to carry out physicallydemanding and dirty work and be unphased by spoiled food waste!Immediate start with a Site Visit being conducted ASAP.Pay - £10.50ph (Weekly Pay)Location - Millerhill, EH21Hours - Full time - 40 hours + optional overtimeContract - 10 weeks temporary (possibility of extension)The main duty of the role is to receive, sort and process feedstock to optimise the operation of the plant. This will include facilitating the smooth intake, sorting and loading operation of the plant on a day-to-day basis. Ensuring compliance with the EnvironmentalPermit and Animal By-Products (ABP) regulations.To put it simply, food waste is put into giant sealed, oxygen-free tanks where it is gradually broken down to produce biogas and biofertilizer - the role will be ensuring there is no "non-food" material within the waste before it is entered into the tanks.Please apply today with an up to date CV or drop an email over to John @
